Description A little port town: In the mid- 1800s, the South Australian port of Robe served a very large expanse of hinterland, once famous for its sheep. The graziers would often take their sheep along to the fellmongers and shearers on Woolundry Road perched close to the shore of what is now known as Lake Fellmongery. Cabaaarnet country: Where once sheep roamed, vineyards soon took their place and the South Australian wine industry boomed. After that, it wasn’t just wool making its way to overseas to places like London, but bottle upon bottle, crate upon crate, of quality Australian Cabernet Sauvignon. A moment in time... Crack a bottle of the Woolundry Road and taste the gorgeous dark fruit, a product of the rich, red ancient soils of the region.
