Description In 1984 the Martínez Bujanda family completed a state of the art winery and then shot to fame with amazing wines. They’ve won a huge haul of awards along the way, Brand of the Decade in the 1990s, and one of the Top Five Rioja Houses, both from Wine & Spirits magazine, USA, to name two. On Laithwatie's 50th anniversary they were delighted to make a special Gran Reserva. It’s from a very good vintage, aged in barrel for 26 months, the rest in bottle. A blend of Tempranillo with portions of old vine Mazuelo and Garnacha to lend extra breadth of flavour and richness. Gorgeous, lavish and complex, as befits the occasion.
