Description Made to be consumed young, this 91pt Tasmanian Pinot Noir from Russell & Suitor is lively, fresh, and packed with vitality; there is no need to cellar. Son of a Bull captures the essence of a young bull in all of its unfettered amazement by being spontaneous, bursting with energy and ready to go. Aromas of fleshy dark fruit and plums integrated with spicy French oak and a dash of musk. Soft front palate tannins open the gate to a subtle mid-palate and a long soft finish. Dave Brookes in The Halliday Wine Companion calls it a "wild-eyed little thing", Aaron Brasher in The Real Review note its: "Sweet, fleshy red fruits on the palate, there's spice and white pepper in there as well. Young, bright and crunchy, easy drinking".
