Description Almond trees were once widely planted in McLaren Vale, including on the land where the Richard Hamilton Almond Grove Chardonnay is now grown. The fresh 2023 vintage has a beautiful bouquet of freshly cut nectarine with a subtle influence of French oak. It's a medium-bodied Chardonnay bursting with stone fruit and enhanced by a spiced creaminess thanks to a combination of new French oak and ample maturation on less. The wine finishes dry with a clean, bright, soft acidity. An excellent companion for poultry, seafood or pasta.
