Description Harvested from a single Merlot vineyard near Paringa in South Australia. The vines are aged between 22 and 50 years and tend to be low yielding for the region as the Allegiance Wines team aim for quality as opposed to yield in their brilliant Gold-winning Fullylove Merlot. "Distinctive jammy cherry, spices and ash-like smoky notes on the nose. The palate is articulate and nicely perfumed with tannin presence. This is a clean, generous Merlot for marinated meats" (Gold medal, Gilbert & Gaillard wine judges).
