Description When Familia Martínez Bujanda moved into their new winery in 1984, they amazed the world with their fruit-rich, modern Riojas. 36 years later, their wines still impress judges (Wine Spectator ranked them as a World Top 50 winery nine years in succession) and consumers alike. Familia Martínez Bujanda was also the first winery we bought from in Spain, and down the years they’ve remained one of our most trusted suppliers. Crafted by winemaker Gonzalo Ortiz from the fruit of 20-year-old vines grown on the estate, this Tempranillo is fresh, fruity and rounded, with light toasty vanilla notes from 12 months ageing in barrel. Ripe, silky and medium in weight, it'll pair nicely with red pepper and tomato dishes, cured meats or grilled lamb.
