Made in the excellent 2021 vintage, Blackstrap Cabernet Sauvignon is as dark and smooth as blackstrap molasses, with all the rich, ripe, peppery dark fruit character to match. Decant an hour or so before serving.
Fragrant cassis, ripe plum with hints of mint and subtle cedar oak aromas, followed by rich black fruit, sweet plum and fine grain tannins across the palate. A soft, generous Cabernet which pairs perfectly with duck or rabbit.
Indulge in some Gold-winning Coonawarra (and Riverina) perfection. Lovely intensity of rich fruit with layers of blackcurrant and herb flavours and spicy toasty oak notes. The tannins are firm, the finish smooth, long and powerful.
5 Red Star Halliday-rated Byron & Harold have crafted a glorious Cabernet Sauvignon rich with forest fruits, blackcurrant, plum and bay leaf with dusty dark chocolate tannins. Great Southern reds like this offer exceptional value.
The Ravensthorpe Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon brings together flavours of cassis, blackberry and a hint of the region's eucalypts with well-integrated toasty oak characters. A great wine to share with a hearty meal.
The Sandpiper range is named after the migratory bird which visits the Thorn Clarke vineyards annually from the northern hemisphere - something of a reminder of the tenacity and commitment which is required for long term viticulture.
