Description From many parcels across three Elderton Barossa vineyard sites. These vineyards ripen differently owing to their different aspects, elevation and soil types. The Greenock vineyard is on the western end of the Barossa, first to ripen and brings a vibrant bouquet and punchy tannin to their Estate Shiraz. Their Nuriootpa plantings bring a depth of tannin and a lovely sweet spiced fruit element, and the Craneford vineyard is a more elevated site on leaner soils ripening later in the season. Halliday calls out its great value as well as giving it 94pts.
