Description Dalwhinnie is located near the small village of Moonambel in the heart of the Pyrenees region of Western Victoria and is a emium producer of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. Only the most expressive barrels of Chardonnay made it into the final blend of the Dalwhinnie Mesa Chardonnay. Hand-picked and wild yeast fermented before six months in largely older oak puncheons and barriques. The nose displays aromas of orange blossom and ripe, vibrant stone fruits. The palate is wonderfully balanced with juicy nectarine, lime, warm subtle oak spice and a fine natural acidity. To pair, try it with grilled Spanish Mackerel with a lemon herb risotto.
