Description The Grand Vintage 2013 marks the Möet & Chandon's 75th vintage. Endowed with a golden hue from years spent in bottle, the palate is layered with a roasted nuttiness, superb honeyed notes and touches of nougat. Apple and pear freshness still remains throughout. This prestige Champagne, presented in a gift box, should be reserved for a special occasion. It’s from one of the best known Champagne houses, Moët et Chandon, established in 1743. Hugh Johnson writes that Moët’s vintage wines are “always a good representative of the character of each vintage, yet with that supple, creamy style that runs through the whole Moët range”. Aged long in the cellar on its lees and at least six months after disgorgement, this Champagne will continue to mature.
