Description Nearly 130 years ago, Captain Henry Stentiford bought a block of land at the heart of the Coonawarra. The English sea captain called it 'Laira' and planted half of it to Shiraz. Many decades later, in 1950, the property was bought by baker Eric Brand and his wife Nancy Redman. These same vines now lay claim as being some of the oldest producing in the region. Recently, Stentiford's Old Vines Shiraz secured a place in James Halliday's 'Top 100' of 2020. “Coonawarra at its best... 97pts. Great Value” (Halliday Wine Companion, James Halliday).
