Description The 94pt Anon is a citrusy expression of Tasmanian Riesling with a long dry finish. It's from Tasmanian Vintners, a joint venture between Tassie businessman Rod Roberts and Fogarty Wine Group (Deep Woods, Evans & Tate, Dalwhinnie). They've attracted some extraordinary winemakers, including Marlborough-born Liam McElhinney, the former Jimmy Watson Trophy winner. Their Anon Riesling has a talc-like minerality, hints of spice and a palate awash with lime juice, lemon and apple fruit. "Refreshing' doesn't pay the wine its dues." (James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion).
