Description The Adaptaur is a tropically-adapted Bos taurus beef cattle breed which was developed in Australia in the 1950s from crosses between Herefords and Shorthorns. Like the bull, the Adaptaur Reserve Durif is the perfect example of careful selection, hailing from selected vineyards in South Australia. The result is a wine that has intensity, decadent and dark with rich flavours of plum and spicy black fruit. Earthy tannins are well balance. An obvious food wine that would do well with the heartiest beef meals.
