Description Plump peach and nectarine with subtle vanillin and barrel fermentation characters. There's a refreshing minerality with toasty oak and zesty citrus acidity bursting through. The 2018 growing season in the Yarra Valley was a vintage in 2 halves; a cool and wet winter and spring followed by dry summer which provided tremendous ripening conditions throughout February and March. Over all, the quality of the grapes produced in the region was exceptional, with Chardonnay showing an outstanding depth of flavor and intensity.
