Description
After flying Spitfires and Hurricanes in WWII, Doug Collett purchased the Woodstock estate in 1973, and produced his first wine only a couple of years later. His son, Scott Collett, a car and motorcycle enthusiast became winemaker in 1982, and still today works alongside Ben Glaetzer to produce a top-drawer range of wines, like this thirst-quenching 93pt Sauvignon.
“In tidy shape. It offers tropical fruit and apple flavours, a whisper of lemongrass, too, perhaps, but most importantly it has decent intensity and remains fresh/refreshing throughout ... 93pts. Great Value” (Halliday).
