Description Mrs Wigley was not the wife of Wirra Wirra founder Robert Strangways Wigley, but a particular pussycat who was born at the neighbouring Petrucci residence. Within days her mum had dragged the litter to settle in Wirra Wirra's open fermenters, and from then on Mrs Wigley became a permanent feature of their cellars. The palate is super fresh and vibrant, this is a dry rosé with a natural fruit richness. There is a juicy quality of crunchy red berries, while blood orange and exotic fruits give succulence to the mid palate. These are balanced by bright, flinty acidity. The finish is refreshing with a subtle savoury texture.
