Description Back in the day, in wine producing countries like France and Italy, it was not unusual to find a range of different varieties planted in the same vineyard. They were picked and vinified together in a single batch – a wine that was literally blended ‘in the field’. Co-fermenting the grapes(rather than fermenting separately and blending later) results in a deliciously harmonious wine of exceptional intensity.
