Description The Black Pig is the brain-child of Steve Grimley, who owned the original black pig that inspired the label – a character-filled piglet called Shirley. Her descendants still roam the paddocks at his McLaren Vale winery today. This anniversary drop is exquisitely dark and alluring, with savoury characters of pepper, mixed spice and herb, creamy oak, dark chocolate and dark fruits. Creamy fine grain oak tannins intertwine with a rounding acidity, leading to a lovely warming dry finish.
