Description This richly textured Chardonnay is reminiscent of the old school Chardonnay Australia built its reputation on. Creamy, bold and packed with flavour, this is distinctly different to Moppity's cool climate Tumbarumba Chardonnay. Made with 100% old vines (planted in 1973), single vineyard free-run juice, partially barrel fermented in French barriques with partial battonage. A round generous palate with intense and bold flavours of ripe nectarines, peaches and fleshy stone fruits. The rich palate is perfectly balanced by bright acidity and spicy oak undertones. The powerful and fleshy mouthfeel lingers and lingers.
