Description Bairrada’s winegrowing history dates back to the 12th century, where the vines were tended by monks. The main grape variety in Bairrada is Baga, which is renowned for its acidity and tannins (similar to Nebbiolo). Here it is blended with the native Aragónez and Touriga Nacional grapes to make a beautiful medium-bodied Portuguese classic layered with flavour, texture and style.
