The Mount Edelstone vineyard was planted 101 years ago, and in 1956 it won Gold at three wine shows – a winning form that has continued ever since. 100% planted to Shiraz, the vines are ungrafted and dry grown – very rare in Oz. Raspberry, blackberry and liquorice with a medicinal note, be sure to decant carefully at least an hour prior to drinking. Serve with confit of duck or roast shoulder of lamb.
