Description The Lionheart of the Barossa Shiraz comes from Dandelion Vineyards' stunning old-vine Barossa vineyard, where ancient, gnarled vines, many over a hundred years of age, are not only surviving but thriving on their own roots in some of the oldest soils on the planet. This is the big, bold Trophy-winning Barossa equivalent of their aptly named Lioness of McLaren Vale Shiraz. Intense dark berry and dark chocolate aromatics meld with a complex yet subtle bouquet of soy, lavender, laurel, pink peppercorns, rosemary and eucalyptus bark. Plush fruit and berry flavours flood and fill the palate – dark, concentrated, but all at once fresh and alive. A flow of sweeping tannins – drying, gripping and extending the wine.
