Description
A fine and elegant palate showing flavours of dark cherry, blackcurrant and vanilla, with good length of flavour and ripe tannins. Hints of florals and dried herbs linger through the finish.
"Estate-grown, machine-harvested, matured in French barriques (30% new) for 15 months. A medium-bodied cabernet with cassis/blackcurrant on entry, shifting to a distinctly savoury finish. The break in the line thus established could well smooth out with further time in bottle... 94pts" (Halliday).
