Château Pleytegeat is owned by the renowned (in Sauternes) du Hayot family, who have six other properties in the appellation, including Deuxième Cru Classé Romer du Hayot. Made largely from Sémillon, with a touch of Sauvignon, and fermented with natural yeasts, this is a beautifully balanced, complex sweetie. Serve chilled with foie gras or creamy fruit tart.
