Particularly the inky rich Shiraz, as you’ll taste in this delicious blend. Merlot is not as well-known as Clare Shiraz or Cabernet, though its plush and velvety richness has been a key player in many of the region’s blends. But just last year, a Taylors Clare Valley Merlot took out the Best of Show Australia award at Mundus Vini in Germany – so big things are happening for Clare Merlot too.
