Description
From the Hyde Park Vineyard in the Grampians, here you can expect a deeply coloured Shiraz showing lovely perfume of dark fruits and chocolate with fine spicy oak which leads to a medium bodied ripe palate full of mulberry and blackberry fruit with fine tannins.
"Grampians shiraz to a tee. Not too heavy but not too light; cherries and leather; earth and spice; a lick of anise. There's a gentle stewiness at play here and a slight orange note to the acidity. But firm tannin is nicely managed and more simply, it's a lovely wine to drink... 93pts" (Halliday).
