Description
A light and bright Pinot from Northern Tasmania, with cherry, violets, strawberry and spice on the nose and palate. Maturation in French oak for 6 months offers fine grain tannins which allow the freshness of the fruit to shine through.
The machine harvester was set to allow whole and barely crushed berries through to the fermenter, 7 days on skins, fermented at low temperatures. Very good colour; damson and blood plum aromas, then a racy array of red fruits including wild strawberry, pomegranate and red cherry." (Halliday).
